- With DirOpus 4.12, you can use the Filter button to do this. It's the
- "F" button near the lower right next to the "C" Configure button. This
- will bring up a requestor where you can specify a file pattern (ie;
- *.iff, or #?.iff). While the filter is active, any directories you
- select, then press Copy, Delete, Move or anything else, will only act on
- files and/or directories that match the pattern. To turn it back off,
- just press "F" again. It works pretty nice, but it's a little unnerving
- trying it the first time. Selecting every directory on a 200 meg
- partition, then Copying to RAM:; when actually the filter will only copy
- a small set of files. This is really nice for creating backups of icons
- (*.info).
